Hilary Norcott

Hilary Norcott is an accomplished music clearance and licensing professional with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Music Clearance at Netflix since April 2018, Norcott leads the in-house music clearance and licensing team for US Film and Series, collaborating with music supervisors and advising on various legal and business matters. Previously, as the Clearance & Licensing Manager at Christine Bergren Music Consulting, Norcott negotiated licensing fees and managed multiple client projects. Norcott's career also includes roles at Paramount Pictures, where responsibilities spanned music clearance for marketing services and project coordination. A graduate of Occidental College with a BA in Politics, Norcott possesses a strong foundation in both the creative and legal aspects of music licensing.
