Rob Zienert

Rob Zienert is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix since October 2016. Zienert previously held key positions such as Technical Oversight Committee Chair at the Continuous Delivery Foundation and Manager of Release Engineering at SmartThings, where responsibilities included managing teams focused on continuous delivery pipelines and infrastructure automation. Zienert's diverse background includes roles at Bloom Health, Irdeto, and Purple, Rock, Scissors, where skills in performance tuning, backend development, and project management were honed. Zienert is also the co-owner of CellarHQ, an open-source web service for tracking beer cellar inventories. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business and an Associate’s in Digital Media from Full Sail University.
