Yang Li

Yang (Bruce) Li is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full stack development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer on the Growth Engineering team at Netflix since September 2019. Prior to this role, Yang held various positions at TripAdvisor, culminating in the role of Principal Software Engineer, where significant contributions included leading projects for user-facing product features and infrastructure initiatives. Yang’s career began at eBay Inc., designing a release orchestration pipeline that significantly reduced product release cycles, and includes roles at Rovi, Michigan State University, and China Telecom Chengdu Branch, showcasing strong technical skills in software development and project leadership. Yang holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications.
