Colton S. has over 7 years of work experience in the tech industry. Colton began their career in 2016 as a Product Marketing Intern at Progress, where they created a mobile application that aligns correct product information for all sales reps and a node. js script that allows users to have custom conversations with Amazon Alexa. In 2021, they joined United Restaurant Equipment Company as a Web Developer, where they developed URECO's mobile and desktop web presence by modernizing its e-commerce site, standardizing and correcting online product information, and building out a more robust customer experience. In 2022, they moved on to Strawbridge Studios, Inc. as a Software Developer, where they developed desktop applications with React/TS to aid management and other internal stakeholders with various reporting needs, maintained and further developed existing applications in response to user feedback, and worked closely with backend developers to develop necessary endpoints for each project. Colton is currently employed at Netgain Solutions as a Senior Developer.

Colton S. obtained their National Career Readiness Certificate (Gold) from ACT in January 2016. In June 2014, they earned their Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop CS6 certification from Adobe. Colton also obtained their Microsoft Office Specialist certification from Microsoft in November 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Colton attended Apex High School, where they studied AP Computer Science and AP Psychology. Colton then went on to pursue an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming at Wake Technical Community College from 2019 to 2021.
