Joseph Choi

Joseph Choi has an extensive work experience in industrial design. Joseph started their career as an intern at Honda R&D in 2004 and later worked as a creative designer at General Motors from 2005 to 2009. Joseph then joined Samsung Electronics and worked their way up to become the Manager of Industrial Design. At Samsung, they managed a team and developed disruptive products while negotiating feasibility with various departments. Joseph also held various roles at different companies such as Survios, Zoox Inc., and Romeo Power Technology, where they contributed to the design and development of innovative products and helped raise significant funding. Joseph is currently working as a Senior Lead Industrial Designer at NETGEAR. Additionally, they have been a faculty member at the Academy of Art University since 2014, teaching advanced transportation and product design.

Joseph Choi earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Transportation Design from ArtCenter College of Design in 2005. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and another B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts from UC San Diego, which they completed in 2001.
