Marcin Micek

Marcin Micek has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Marcin began their career at 2DO s.c. as a Java Developer. In 2013, they moved to LINCOR Software, where they were responsible for the design and development of the fleet management system TruckOnline.pl. Marcin'sroles included gathering data from LINCOR manufactured devices, online processing of big amounts of data from vehicles and GPS, reporting kilometers, fuel usage, fuel level, speed limits, ability to register and send alerts for specific events, MoneyCare/SafetyDriver in-house made solutions, reading data from digital tachographs remotely, online geo location/reverse geo location, routing, planned routes, integration with PayU payment service, invoicing system, digital wallet approach, providing data to external services, and gathering data from GSM Operators. In 2015, they joined NetGuardians as a Java Tech Lead and Software Engineer, where they developed anti-fraud banking software, using Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, Angular 8, TypeScript, Node.js, Bootstrap, Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, Spark structured streaming, Kafka, Mesos, JUnit, Python, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Vagrant.

Marcin Micek has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Informatyka from Politechnika Świętokrzyska w Kielcach, which they earned between 2009 and 2013. Marcin then earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Informatyka from the same school between 2013 and 2014.
