Melvin Post is currently a Junior R&D Engineer at NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre since April 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an MSc Thesis Student at Fokker Technologies Holding B.V., where the focus was on finite element model validation for bird strike crashworthiness and fluid-structure interaction during soft-body impact. Additionally, Melvin worked as a Stress Engineer at IT'S Engineering and held positions at Albert Heijn as Shiftleider Operatie and IT'S Engineering as a Graduation Student, where contributions were made towards calculating structural failures under varying conditions. An Engineering Intern at Acecore Technologies, Melvin engaged in the design process of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Melvin holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Lightweight Structures from Delft University of Technology and Inholland University of Applied Sciences, respectively.
