Ou Ku is a Research Software Engineer at the Netherlands eScience Center since February 2020, specializing in advanced computing solutions for scientific research. Prior to this role, Ou Ku served as an InSAR Engineer at SkyGeo from October 2016 to February 2020, focusing on measuring large-area ground deformation with radar interferometry (InSAR) techniques, providing millimeter precision to support civil infrastructure monitoring. Ou Ku holds a Master of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Delft University of Technology (2014-2017) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying Technology from Central South University (2010-2014).

The Netherlands eScience Center is the national center of excellence for the development and application of research software to advance academic research. We are convinced that research in every academic discipline can be improved by taking advantage of available digital technology. We take a multidisciplinary approach, combining our deep knowledge of both academic research and software development to help define and solve research challenges. We share our ideas and the tools we develop. Together with a wide range of partner organizations, we advance not just our research projects, but the state of academic research in general.
