Laura Hammock

Laura Hammock currently serves as the Laboratory Manager for the Social Brain Lab at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, beginning in July 2023. Previous roles include Tour Guide at Starboard Boats and a Psychology Research Intern at Shleep, where research focused on a sleep wellness program. Laura gained additional research experience as an intern at VUmc School of Medical Sciences, analyzing data on hypersomnolence disorders. Earlier positions include Front Office Assistant, Lab Assistant, and Project Manager at Carthage College, along with a Teacher Assistant role at New Horizons Academy and a Part-time Sales Associate position at The TJX Companies, Inc. Educational qualifications include a graduate degree in Brain and Cognitive Science from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Carthage College.
