Niamh McNamara

Niamh McNamara is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, focusing on myelin regeneration in multiple sclerosis since February 2023. Prior to this, Niamh has been a PhD Researcher at The University of Edinburgh since September 2018, participating in a Wellcome Trust-funded programme in Tissue Repair and completing significant rotation projects in multiple sclerosis and skin organoid research. Niamh's earlier experience includes four summer internships in R&D at Boston Scientific, work as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at University College Dublin, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University, and a cashier position at Londis. Niamh holds a PhD in Tissue Repair from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Biomedical, Health and Life Sciences from University College Dublin.
