Farhan Irshad

Board Chair at NetHope

Farhan Irshad is currently the Board Chair at NetHope. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at HIAS from April 2014 to January 2022. In this role, they provided executive-level leadership, oversight, direction and organization of internal operations and systems covering administration, finance, human resources and information technology. Farhan also collaborated with Executive Team members to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all intersectional processes and install quality checks that ensure optimal performance.

Irshad has also served as the Finance Director International Programs at Save the Children from March 2006 to March 2014, and as the Director of Finance and Administration at Save the Children US from May 2000 to February 2006.

Farhan is a highly accomplished financial executive with over 20 years of experience in progressively responsible positions in the nonprofit sector. Farhan is a strategic thinker with a track record of successful program and organizational growth. Farhan has a proven ability to develop and implement effective financial management systems and controls. Farhan is an expert in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting with a demonstrated commitment to accountability and transparency.

Farhan Irshad has a MBA in finance from the University of Central Punjab and is currently working in the finance, accounting, and IT fields.
