Chelsey Madsen

Chelsey Madsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chelsey started their career as an intern at various music-related companies such as Flameshovel Records, Uppercut Music Management, and Southern Records. Following that, they worked as an intern at ASCAP, where they recruited new members and assisted existing members in maximizing their benefits. Chelsey then transitioned into the corporate world, working as an Administrative Assistant & Internal Recruiter at Stride & Associates, where they supported multiple placement agencies. Chelsey later became an HR Assistant at Trading Technologies, a company that develops trading software for financial institutions. Chelsey then moved on to InnerWorkings as a Corporate Recruiter, where they focused on global and technical talent acquisition. Chelsey continued their career at Paylocity, first as a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner and later as a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner, supporting the company's growth from 800 to over 3000+ employees. Currently, Chelsey is the Head of Technical Recruiting at Netlify, an all-in-one platform for automating modern web projects. In this role, they oversee the recruitment efforts of a diverse and globally distributed team of over 200 members.

Chelsey Madsen completed their education at Columbia College Chicago from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Music Business with a focus on Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management. Chelsey also obtained an HR Generalist Certification from SHRM in January 2010.
