Patrik Fältström

Patrik Fältström has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Patrik joined Netnod in 2012 and held various roles such as Head of Research and Development, Head of Engineering, Research and Development, Technical Director, and finally Head of Security. Patrik also served as a Board Member at Stiftelsen för Telematikens Utveckling from 2023 and became a Member of Militärsällskapet i Stockholm in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Swedish Armed Forces as a Specialist and later as the Team Lead for Locked Shields. Patrik also served as a Member of the board at Internetstiftelsen from 2022 and founded their own company PAFTECH AB in the same year. Additionally, they became a Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences in 2013. Prior to joining Netnod, they held leadership positions at Swedish Network Users Society (SNUS) as Chair and later as a Board Member. Patrik also founded Frobbit AB in 2005. Notably, they were involved with ICANN as a Member and later as the Chair of the Security and Stability Advisory Committee.

Patrik Fältström's education history includes attending the Swedish Defence University, specifically the Tactical Staff Course, from 2020 to 2021. Prior to this, they completed their Master of Science degree in Mathematics at Stockholm University from 1984 to 1991.
