Dr. Marco Lafrentz

Dr. Marco Lafrentz has vast work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Marco currently serves as the Vice President of Business and Market Development at netnumber Global Data Services since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at tyntec for several years, holding different positions. Dr. Marco was the Vice President of Products from July 2018 to October 2022, responsible for overseeing product strategies. Dr. Marco also served as the Director of Business Line CPaaS from January 2017 to June 2018 and as a Senior Product Manager from July 2015 to December 2016. Dr. Lafrentz started their career at tyntec as a Product Manager from December 2013 to June 2015. Before their tenure at tyntec, they worked as an academic at TU Dortmund University. From January 2010 to October 2013, they conducted fundamental research in the field of nonlinear optics in semiconductors and served as an assistant lecturer.

Dr. Marco Lafrentz has a strong educational background in physics. Dr. Marco obtained their Dipl.-Phys. degree in Physics from TU Dortmund University, where they studied from 2004 to 2010. Following this, they pursued further education and received their Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physics from the same university between 2010 and 2013.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. Lafrentz has also obtained two additional certifications. In 2005, they obtained the DELF 1er Degré certification from Institut français. Later, in September 2016, they obtained the Product Focus Certified Product Manager certification from Product Focus.
