Amir Naftali

CTO, VP Engineering at NetOp.Cloud

Amir Naftali has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Amir began their career as a Software Engineer in the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) in 1991. Afterward, they joined ClassData Systems, where they worked as a Software Engineer until it was acquired by Cisco Systems in 1998.

At Cisco Systems, Naftali held the position of Sr. Software Group Manager for over a decade, managing numerous software engineers and architects across various locations. Amir showcased expertise in Networking, Network Security, AAA, and Internet domains. Naftali's responsibilities included overseeing complex, multi-team projects and handling startup-like projects.

In 2011, Naftali co-founded FortyCloud, where they served as CTO and played a crucial role until 2016. During this time, they focused on leading technological aspects and shaping the company's direction.

From 2016 to 2021, Naftali joined FireMon, initially assuming the role of CTO for FortyCloud. Later, they became the VP of Cloud Innovation Center. In both positions, they contributed significantly to the company's cloud-related innovations and initiatives.

Naftali's career continued to progress, and from 2021 to 2022, they worked with Noname Security as the VP R&D. During their tenure, they made valuable contributions to the company's research and development efforts.

Currently, as of April 2022, Naftali holds the position of CTO and VP Engineering at NetOp.Cloud, where they continue to bring their extensive technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the company's engineering initiatives and technological advancements.

Amir Naftali obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Sciences from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, during the period from 1998 to 2000.
