Jerome Espina

Jerome Espina is a Junior Data Scientist at Netopia AI since March 2024, previously serving as a Data Science Intern. Espina worked as a Valuation Analyst at WTW and interned in Nanoscience and Technology at Academia Sinica, where expertise in band structure calculations using DFT and MATLAB was developed. Additional experience includes a Bioinformatics and Genomic Data Analysis internship at the International Rice Research Institute, focused on bioinformatics analysis and operational skills in Linux. Jerome Espina holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics with a focus on Quantum Transport and Quantum Thermodynamics from the University of the Philippines and a High School Diploma in STEM from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
