Chris Lewis

Chris Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Chris began their career as a Field Engineer at Mid-South Data Industries in 1995 before moving on to MCI Worldcom, where they served as a Data Operations Manager from 1997 to 2000.

In 2000, Lewis joined Hybrid Networks as a Senior Field Engineer, responsible for technical support and troubleshooting. Chris then transitioned to ioWave in 2002, where they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer, performing sales engineering and field engineering duties.

Lewis continued to progress in their career, taking on the role of Director of Business Development & RDT at Commnet Wireless (a subsidiary of Atlantic Tele-Network) from 2008 to 2010.

From 2004 to 2010, they also served as Director, Wireless Technologies at Atlantic Tele-Network, where they managed Choice Engineering and Field Operations, provided customer solutions, and consulted on wireless projects.

After this, Lewis worked as a Digital Media Strategist at Infusion Media, assisting small businesses in developing their social media and internet presence.

In 2012, they joined Vectra3 as the Chief Surveillance Officer, specializing in video surveillance camera systems and technologies, before eventually moving on to Intrepid Sentry Security Group, LLC / Smart Security Integrators in 2017.

At Intrepid Sentry Security Group, Lewis took on the role of Project Manager / CTO, overseeing site surveys, estimates, and managing the operations of video surveillance installations and support.

Most recently, Lewis joined NetPlanner Systems, Inc. in 2022 as a Security Engineer.

Chris Lewis attended Hinds Community College from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained an Associates of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science. Chris then enrolled at Belhaven University from 1991 to 1993, focusing on Business and Computer Science. In addition to their educational background, Chris obtained a certification as a Milestone Professional from Milestone in August 2013.
