VP (infrastructure) at NETS

Bernard Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bernard is currently employed at NETS as a VP (Infrastructure) since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Wirecard from 2013 to 2021, where they held the positions of Interim (Head of Infrastructure & Operations) from July 2020 to March 2021, and Head (Corporate IT, Asia) from November 2013 to March 2021. At Wirecard, they were responsible for managing the Office IT infrastructure and IT Service Desk Operations in Asia, as well as facilitating the integration of acquired companies in the Asia Pacific region.

Before joining Wirecard, Bernard worked at Korvac Holdings as a VP (Technical Support) from November 2007 to November 2013. Bernard managed the IT infrastructure and Office IT operations for the Korvac Group of companies and achieved PCI DSS Level 1 & 2 certifications for Card Alliance ePINS infrastructure. Bernard was also part of the team that transferred to Paymentlink Pte Ltd subsidiary and was divested to Wirecard Singapore Pte Ltd in November 2013.

Earlier in their career, Bernard worked at IDA Singapore as the Head (Infrastructure), Site from August 2006 to November 2007. Bernard also held various roles at Korvac International Systems (S) Pte Ltd from 2001 to 2006, including General Manager (Systems & Support), Senior IT Consultant, and IT Consultant. Additionally, Bernard worked at NCS Group from 1998 to 2001, where they served as a Senior Consultant, Senior Systems Engineer, and Systems Engineer.

Throughout their career, Bernard has gained expertise in managing IT infrastructure, leading teams, ensuring uptime of email messaging infrastructure, providing support, and implementing infrastructure solutions.

Bernard Lee's education history includes various academic achievements and pursuits. In 1989, they graduated from Tampines Junior College with a GCE A Levels degree, specializing in Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics. From 1993 to 1996, they attended Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, earning a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Computer Engineering from the School of Applied Science. In 2006, Bernard acquired additional knowledge by completing a course on ITIL Foundation at ITalics. In 2011, they attended the Disaster Recovery Institute, where they obtained an ABCP (DRI BCLE2000) certification.
