Chathuri Mahanayake has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Chathuri is currently working at NETS as a Software Developer since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Tech Lead at Axiata Digital Labs from November 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Axiata Digital Labs, Chathuri was a Senior Software Engineer at Dialog Axiata PLC from February 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they were involved in the migration of the Charging Gateway to the AWS cloud environment. Chathuri utilized various AWS cloud tools/functions such as SES, SNS, Cloudwatch, S3, and lambda functions.

Chathuri's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Blackchrome from December 2016 to February 2019 and as an Associate Software Engineer at Genesiis Software (Pvt) Ltd from June 2016 to December 2016.

Chathuri Mahanayake has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Java Institute for Advanced Technology, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Newstead Girls' College from 1999 to 2012, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Bio-Science.
