Jim Mei

Jim Mei is a Principal Engineer at Netskope since April 2021, previously serving as a Founding Engineer at Trace Data until its acquisition by Netskope. With experience at Cisco as a Technical Lead and Principal Software Engineer, Jim Mei led the architectural direction of the End User Monitoring team's distributed system handling billions of events daily. Jim Mei also held key engineering roles at AppDynamics, IBM, Kana Communication, and Electric Classifieds Inc., where significant contributions were made to various software solutions. Academic credentials include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
