Luis Pereira

Luis Pereira has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Luis currently holds the position of Lead Software Engineer at Netsmart, where they also previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. Additionally, they have experience as a Team Lead for the Engineering Internship Program and as a Coordinator for the Internship Program at Netsmart. Prior to joining Netsmart, Pereira worked at Pereira Trucking LLC as an Administrative Assistant for their family's business. Luis also served as a Bilingual Marketing & Sales Specialist at State Farm. Earlier in their career, Pereira worked as a Concession Worker at Galaxy Cinemas, where they provided excellent customer service, handled concession stand operations, and ensured the cleanliness of the facilities.

Luis Pereira earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science at State Fair Community College from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Luis also obtained additional certifications, including "Learning AWS CloudFormation" from LinkedIn in November 2021 and a "Property and Casualty Insurance License" from the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions & Professional Registration in November 2012.
