Steve Cap

Steve Cap has extensive work experience dating back to 1985. Steve started their career as a Sales Consultant at Computerland of Lincoln Park and later became the Associate Manager of Internal Operations. In this role, they supervised sales personnel, handled marketing, and expanded major accounts.

Steve then joined Playboy Enterprises as a Local Area Network (LAN) Administrator, where they managed daily operations and planned for the growth of the Novell Netware LAN/WAN networks. Steve also established network standards and evaluated hardware/software products.

Afterwards, Steve worked as a Project Manager/Senior Systems Engineer at RMI Network Services Inc. Steve managed major projects, handled scheduling, training, and cash flow. Steve also created and implemented reporting forms and routines.

In 1993, Steve joined AT&T/SBC/Ameritech as a Design Engineer. Steve played a key role in introducing new products to the sales team, such as MPLS, VPLS, Cloud Computing, and Mobility/Cellular. Steve provided technical training and troubleshooting support to customers.

From 2010 to 2016, Steve worked at Remprex, LLC as a Sales Engineer. Steve designed domestic and international network solutions, developed marketing materials, and established strategic partner alliances to enhance product offerings.

Starting in 2017, Steve joined Vomoda Group LLC as a Sales Engineer until 2023.

In 2023, they transitioned to NetSpark IP & Telecom as a Sales Engineer.

Steve Cap has a solid educational background in business administration and information systems. Steve earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 1980 and 1984. Later, they pursued further education at the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
