Scott Townley

Scott Townley has extensive work experience in project management, demand planning, supply chain operations, and inventory management.

Scott started their career at Cooper Industries, where they held roles as a Production Manager and Manufacturing Engineer. During this time, they managed forging lines, supervised employees, and implemented inventory control programs.

Following their time at Cooper Industries, Scott joined BIC as a Production Manager, overseeing the start-up of new departments and achieving ISO 9K certification.

Scott then joined Nortel, where they held various roles including Global Asset Recovery Manager and Global Inventory Leadership Prime. In these positions, they implemented processes for selling excess inventory and managed multi-tiered supply chains. Additionally, Scott worked as a Technical Operations and Product Prime, contributing to cost reductions, product launches, and process improvements.

Subsequently, Scott joined Sensus as the North America Demand Manager. In this role, they designed and implemented data-based planning processes, conducted Lean Six Sigma activities, and established Integrated Business Planning reviews.

Most recently, Scott has been working at NETSTOCK as a Project Manager and Management Consultant. In this position, they provide planning guidance to global customers, manages software implementations, and provides training and support.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in planning, process improvement, and inventory management, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Scott Townley attended North Carolina State University from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Quality Engineer certification from ASQ in October 1997. Scott also holds several additional certifications including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Nortel Networks in August 2009, Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning from Oliver Wight Americas, Inc. in October 2011, and Effective Negotiating from Karass, Ltd in December 2013. Other certifications include Clean Sheet Supplier Negotiations, Finance for Operations Leaders, Materials Management, Crucial Conversations - High Stakes Conversations, Project Management, Leadership Edge Program Graduate, ISO 9000 Internal Auditor, all obtained at various years during their time at Nortel Networks.
