Thomas Weidekamp has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Thomas started their career in 2019 as an intern at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they gained knowledge of embassy work and contributed to various tasks related to politics, economics, trade, and administration. During their internship, they also wrote reports on the political situation in Ireland, some of which were used for a visit by the Irish prime minister to Denmark.
In 2020, Thomas worked as a journalist at Universitas, where they gained valuable experience in news reporting and storytelling.
In 2021, Thomas joined the University of Oslo as a research assistant, providing support in research projects for a period of four months.
Currently, Thomas is working at Nettbureau as a Content Specialist, a role they have held since June 2021. Thomas recently transitioned to the position of Content & Marketing Manager, showcasing their growth and advancement within the company.
Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated their skills in content management, marketing, research, and journalism, making him a versatile professional.
Thomas Weidekamp began their education in 2015 when they enrolled at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. From 2015 to 2018, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Culture. In 2015, they also attended the EF Executive Language Institute in Barcelona, where they focused on the study of Spanish.
In 2017, Thomas attended two different universities as part of their bachelor's degree program. Thomas spent a semester at Copenhagen Business School, where they took electives. Thomas also participated in an exchange program at Universidad de Córdoba.
In 2018, Thomas pursued a Master of Arts degree in Journalism at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark. Thomas completed this program in 2020.
From 2018 to 2018, Thomas also had the opportunity to study at The University of Edinburgh as part of their bachelor's degree program.
Most recently, Thomas has been attending the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2020 to 2022, where they are completing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Media Studies with a focus on Political Communication.
