Sipra Thomas

Sipra Thomas currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at NymCard since April 2023, while also being a Founding Member at Zest Consulting DMCC since July 2019. With extensive experience in compliance and audit roles, Sipra has held positions such as Vice President - Compliance & Audit and Vice President - Audit and Compliance at Network International LLC since 2003, and Head of Risk and Compliance at geidea from May 2021 to April 2023. The career began at American Express as Financial Controller - Retail Banking from 1987 to 1993, followed by positions at Peregrine Capital India and ING Barings India where Sipra was Executive Director & Head of Finance. Sipra holds a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Laws in Mercantile Law from the University of Calcutta.
