Matthew Diggle

Matthew Diggle is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Associate Director & Lead Project Engineer TMS at Network Rail Consulting since February 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew held various technical positions, including Technical Authority for Traffic Management, Control Systems, and Automatic Routesetting at Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe from September 2015 to December 2023. Additional experience includes being Head of Integration at Hitachi Europe, Lead Product Engineer at Signalling Solutions Limited, Technical Leader at GE Transportation, and Senior Consultant at Lloyd's Register Rail. Matthew possesses a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds and has completed multiple sailing qualifications from prestigious institutions, including RYA Yachtmaster Ocean and RYA Coastal Skipper certifications.
