Gordon Cowan

Gordon Cowan is an experienced telecommunications professional with a robust background in configuration design engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior GSM-R Configuration Design Engineer at Network Rail since 2010, Gordon plays a key role in the GSM-R Design Engineering team, focusing on configuration management and building collaborative relationships across various teams. Prior experience includes positions at Vodafone UK as a Core Network Management Engineer, where support was provided for 2G/3G Core Networks, and leadership roles at Cowan Communications Ltd. and Harris Corporation, where technical support was delivered to the U.S. Military. Gordon's extensive career also encompasses roles at T-Mobile UK, One2One Digital, and the Royal Corps of Signals, spanning over three decades in the telecommunications and military communications sectors, along with formal education at Plymouth College of Further Education.
