Karl Butler-Garnham

Karl Butler-Garnham is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the rail industry, currently serving as Chief Intelligent Infrastructure Integration Engineer and R&D Programme Manager at Network Rail since July 2012. In this role, Karl leads the Delivery of Critical Technology Developments for the GB Rail Industry while also managing key programmes within the Asset Information Services (AIS) business plan. Prior to this, Karl held positions at Atkins from November 2005 to June 2012, where responsibilities included managing radio projects at Heathrow Airport and overseeing technical design for various technology initiatives. Karl holds a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Kent, obtained in 2005.
