Matthew Stuart

Matthew Stuart is an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in railway engineering and civil engineering. Matthew has been working at Vitruvius since September 2022, focusing on multidisciplinary consultancy roles that combine technical design, engineering delivery, and project management. Prior to this, Matthew served as a Senior Project Engineer at Network Rail, overseeing design assurance for the Gatwick Station Project and related upgrades. Previously, Matthew held a role managing the Geotechnical portfolio in London and the South East. With experience as a Civil Engineer at CERN, contributing to the feasibility of a Compact Linear Collider, and as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Network Rail, Matthew has cultivated a diverse skill set in engineering design and project execution. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
