Sam Cherry

Sam Cherry is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in telecommunications, currently working at Network Rail since June 2012. In various roles, including Project Manager and Scheme Project Manager for Network Rail Telecom, Sam has effectively delivered voice, data, and telecom solutions to a substantial internal customer base, managing projects from initiation through to handover while collaborating with key suppliers such as BT and CenturyLink. Key achievements include managing a large corporate site installation and delivering critical connectivity for the Dawlish railway post-storm damage, receiving government praise for expedited delivery. Prior experience includes serving as an Account Manager at BT, where Sam led a team in managing high-profile customer accounts and ensuring seamless order processing for core products. Sam holds a background from Vandyke Upper School.
