Sam Wall is currently the Head of Secretariat at Network Rail, a position held since 2025. Previously, Sam worked as the Head of Governance for the Great British Railways Transition Team and was on secondment at Transport for London during the same period. Sam's early career included roles as a Healthcare Assistant at Boots UK and a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Sam completed a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Nottingham in 2015 and participated in the Customers, Communication and Technology graduate scheme, gaining experience in public relations and communications.
