Simon Gardner

Simon Gardner has extensive experience in the railway engineering sector, having held various leadership roles at Network Rail since February 2003, including Head Of Engineering and Engineering Delivery Director. In these positions, Simon oversees critical teams within The Greater West Programme, focusing on power distribution and system delivery. Previous roles include Senior Programme Manager, where Simon led gauging assessments for the introduction of new train models in Western and Wales, and Programme Manager for initiatives such as the Great Western Route Modification and Crossrail works. Simon holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
