Tom Moore

Tom Moore is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Communications Manager at Network Rail since April 2024. Prior to this, Tom held the position of PR and Communications Officer at Spelthorne Borough Council from November 2019 to April 2024, where Tom played a significant role in managing the Council’s communications during the Coronavirus pandemic. Tom's previous roles include Communications Officer at Surrey Police, where Tom effectively ran a busy news desk and crafted public appeals, and Senior Sports Reporter at Trinity Mirror Southern, where Tom developed industry contacts and earned senior journalism qualifications. Tom's career also includes freelance writing for Brentford Football Club and roles at Archant and Sportsbeat/News Associates. Tom holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from The University of Salford, complemented by a NCTJ Diploma in Journalism from News Associates.
