Sakerin Jahan

Sakerin Jahan has over 25 years of extensive experience in corporate affairs and overseas purchasing. Currently serving as Assistant General Manager for Overseas Purchase & Corporate Affairs at NetWorld Bangladesh Ltd since April 2010, Sakerin acts as the primary contact for employees and management within the business unit. Prior to this role, Sakerin worked as Assistant General Manager and Manager of Ocean Operation at EBD Limited from September 1999 to March 2010, focusing on negotiating service contracts and coordinating logistics between local and international stakeholders. Sakerin began the career as an Officer in the Overseas Purchase & Trade Division at Mamya-OP (Bangladesh) Ltd, a Japanese company, from December 1995 to August 1999, where responsibilities included purchase order preparation and supplier delivery confirmations. Sakerin holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from the University of Chittagong and completed high school with a focus on science at Brahman Baria Government College.
