Evan Defloor is a cybersecurity professional with a robust experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as the President and Co-founder of Northeastern University’s Capture the Flag club, Evan organizes cybersecurity competitions and educational events. Previous roles include a Cyber System Exploitation Co-op at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where Evan developed an automated malware analysis platform, and a Trust and Assurance Cybersecurity Intern at MITRE, where skills in Python and SQLAlchemy were utilized to improve database automation related to the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Additionally, Evan has experience as a Cyber Security Engineer Co-op at Hologic, Inc., contributing to asset management automation, and held positions as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences. Early career as a Full Stack Developer at Enterprise Data Solutions, Inc. involved building support systems and leading front-end rework projects. Evan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at Northeastern University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
