Amit S. has over 25 years of experience in finance and investment management. Since September 2008, Amit has served as Portfolio Manager for the Neuberger Berman Small Cap Intrinsic Value Fund, co-managing the Neuberger Berman Intrinsic Value Fund and leading various shareholder activism initiatives. Prior to this role, Amit was a Research Analyst on the Intrinsic Value Team, focusing on technology, telecom, power/utilities, and transportation sectors. From August 2002 to September 2008, Amit was a Partner and Senior Research Analyst at David J. Greene & Co., LLC, where a contrarian investment approach was employed to identify opportunities in out-of-favor companies. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President in the Financial Strategy Group at Citi, advising on financial restructuring and optimization. Amit holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Tel Aviv University.
