Ben J. Szwalbenest

Ben J. Szwalbenest is an accomplished financial services executive with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and bank operations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Neuberger Berman since September 2014, Szwalbenest has held high-ranking positions at several institutions, including Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Amalgamated Bank from November 2011 to September 2014. Prior to that, Szwalbenest worked as a Senior Consultant in consulting services and spent a significant part of a career at JP Morgan Chase & Co, where responsibilities included leading the transition of the Bear Stearns banking business post-merger and serving as Managing Director. Previous roles also include Chairman, President, and CEO of Custodial Trust Company, Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns, and Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer & Secretary at Custodial Trust Company earlier in the career. Education includes a Juris Doctor from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law and a BBA in Economics from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
