John Barker

John Barker has an extensive career spanning several decades in finance and management. Since July 1994, John has served as Managing Director at Neuberger Berman, where responsibilities include managing the Large Cap Disciplined Growth Portfolio. Between January 2004 and January 2017, John co-founded and held the position of Chairman at The Monticello Motor Club, which was established as the first Private Member Country Club focused on high performance driving and racing. Prior experience includes working in the Finance Group at Morgan Stanley from February 1984 to January 1987, where John contributed to internal corporate reporting and support during the firm's IPO, as well as serving as part of the audit staff at Main Hurdman and Cranstoun from May 1980 to February 1984, where John was involved in audit, tax, and management consulting services. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Iona University, completed in 1980, and graduated from Saint Raymond High School in 1976.
