Mark Purnell

Mark Purnell has extensive work experience in the IT industry, with a focus on implementation, management, and functional aspects of various projects. Mark started their career as a Technical Support Representative at Sage Software in 1997 and later became a Business Systems Manager, where they guided the development of self-service web applications and performed systems gap analysis for company acquisitions. In 2006, they became a SAP CRM Functional Lead, responsible for configuring SAP CRM and promoting business process standardization.

In 2007, Purnell joined Neudesic as a National Architect, initially working as a consultant for Dynamics 4.0 implementations and then being promoted to Principal Consultant and ultimately to their current role. Mark joined Deloitte Digital in 2017 as a Manager, and later moved to Avanade in 2020 as a Group Manager, where they served as a Delivery Lead and provided Quality Assurance input on Dynamics 365 projects.

Currently, Purnell holds the position of Sr Director, Modern Applications Delivery at Neudesic since 2023.

Mark Purnell received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from the College of Business at California State University-Long Beach. Mark attended the university from 1988 to 1991. In addition to their degree, Mark has obtained numerous certifications in the field of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and business applications. These certifications include MB-240 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Field Service, Dynamics 365 for Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate, Dynamics 365 for Marketing Functional Consultant Associate, Dynamics 365 for Sales Functional Consultant Associate, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Business Applications, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Online Deployment, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales, and Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert. The dates of obtaining these certifications range from 2017 to 2021.
