Riaan van der Merwe

Riaan van der Merwe has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Riaan started their career as a Senior Consultant at Spherion Technology from February 2000 to December 2001. Following this, they joined Jones Lang LaSalle as the VP Global Architecture and Development from January 2002 to June 2009. Riaan then moved on to Neudesic, where they held multiple roles, including Director - XRM Practice from July 2009 to August 2013, General Manager, Dynamics Practice from August 2013 to July 2015, Senior Solution Partner from July 2015 to the present, and Senior Director, Customer Experience from January 2017 to the present. Currently, Riaan holds the position of Senior Director, Healthcare Practice at Neudesic since July 2019. Riaan'swork at Neudesic primarily focuses on Customer Relationship Management and the Customer Experience, with vertical expertise in Health Care, Education, Hospitality & Loyalty, and Financial Services.

Riaan van der Merwe began their education in 1988 at the University of Johannesburg, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences. Riaan successfully completed this program in 1990. Following this, in 1991, they enrolled in the University of Johannesburg again and pursued a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Computer Science. Riaan completed this program in 1992. Additionally, from 1992 to 1994, Riaan van der Merwe attended the University of Johannesburg and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, graduating cum laude.
