Barbara K.

Barbara K. is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a robust background in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the AVP of Marketing and Communications at NeueHealth since January 2023, Barbara leads all provider and member communications for a growing Value-Based program. Prior positions include AVP of Provider Engagement at Bright Health, where management of provider communications and engagement was a key focus, and Vice President of Marketing at Essen Health Care, where Barbara developed internal communications programs and enhanced patient visit initiatives. Additional roles span senior communications leadership at Westchester Medical Center, Health Quest, and previous positions in public affairs and strategic planning at various organizations, including the Smithsonian Institution and Physicians Health Services. Barbara holds a BA in Psychology from Lafayette College and an MPA in Health Care from New York University Graduate School of Public Administration.
