Martine Bury

Martine Bury has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the media and travel industry. In 1997, they started as an Assistant Editor for Jane Magazine, where they worked until 1998. From 2001 to 2004, they served as the West Coast Editor for YM Magazine. In 2006, they worked as a Senior Publicist for Evolutionary Media Group, where they developed media strategies and managed client accounts.

From 2007 to 2011, Martine held the position of Editor in Chief and Editorial Director for 944 Magazine, overseeing all aspects of the publication and making major decisions. Later in 2012, they became the Consulting Director of GenArt Global, where they founded and managed the international division of the company.

In 2013, Martine joined Ker & Downey as the Editor in Chief of QUEST, a travel magazine. Martine continued their editorial work as the Editorial Director for Kind Traveler from 2015 to 2017, focusing on promoting travel for social good.

Martine's expertise in content development and strategy led their to become the Vice President of Content and Editor in Chief for Surface Magazine in 2019, where they were responsible for developing and implementing their content strategy. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Vice President of Programming + Experiential at NeueHouse and Fotografiska, leading a talented team to create immersive brand experiences through various channels.
