Yuchen Chen

Yuchen Chen, PhD has more than 10 years of research experience in the field of trans-differentiation and gene therapy. Dr. Chen is a former Spark Therapeutics CNS Research Scientist, where focused on the development of gene therapy for Huntington Disease.

Dr. Chen successfully achieved functional recovery in a mouse stroke model using AtN conversion technology through AAV-NeuroD1 for the first time.

Yuchen received a PhD in Molecular Cellular and Integrative Biosciences from Pennsylvania State University and BS in Life Science from China Agricultural University. He has published several articles on neuro-regeneration in top journals including Cell Stem Cell, Molecular Therapy, Nature Communication
