Kiran Desai

Kiran Desai has extensive work experience in the field of process engineering. They have held various roles in different companies over the years. Kiran started their career in 2002 as an Officer Project and Process Development at M/s Excel Industries Limited, where they led the pilot plant team and executed the commissioning of various projects. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as an Executive Project Engineering at Orchid, where they were responsible for project concept preparation and technical support. Kiran then joined Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in 2007, initially as an Assistant Manager - Process Engineering and later as a Manager. In these roles, they were involved in process development and project execution, and worked across different functions within the company. In 2018, Kiran became an Associate Director - Process Engineer Level 1 at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and in 2020, they moved to Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited as Lead Process Engineering. Currently, Kiran is working at Neuland Laboratories Limited as the Associate Vice President and Head of Process Engineering.

Kiran Desai has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Karnatak University, which was obtained between 1996 and 2000. Before that, they attended JSS college Dharwad, where they completed their Pre-University College education in the field of PCMS from 1994 to 1996. Additionally, Kiran has obtained a certification in "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn in 2022.
