Michael Upchurch

Michael Upchurch has had a long and successful career in the financial services industry. In 1997, they began their career at IBM as a Solution Manager. In 2004, they founded Upchurch Financial, and in 2008, Upchurch Financial was acquired by Delta Settlements, where they assumed the role of CEO. In 2012, they founded NeuLife Rehabilitation, one of the largest residential post-acute rehabilitation facilities in the Southeast. Finally, in 2018, they founded Independent Life Insurance Company, the first annuity provider to focus exclusively on the structured settlement market.

Michael Upchurch attended Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 1995 to 1997, where they earned an MBA in Finance. Prior to that, they attended Emory University from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology.
