Boris Kummerer

Boris Kummerer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Boris began their career at Vattenfall in 1989 as a First Engineer for Measurement- and Control Technology, where they worked until 1999. Following this, they worked as a Freelance Audio Consultant & Engineer from 2001 to 2007. In 2007, they joined SAE Institute Germany as the Head of Audio Department until 2013, after which they became the Senior Industry Relations representative until 2022. Currently, Boris works as a Relations Manager at Georg Neumann GmbH, a position they have held since March 2022.

Boris Kummerer completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Professional Practice (Creative Media Industries) from Middlesex University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma in Audio Engineering from the SAE Institute Berlin between 1999 and 2001. Boris also has a degree as an Electronics Engineer from the Vocational College for Electronic Engineering Haselhorst, Spandau, which they pursued from 1985 to 1989. This education involved a dual professional education program in cooperation with BeWaG, the former public power supplier in Berlin.
