Emiliano Rice

Emiliano Rice currently serves as the Head of Sustainability at Neumann Kaffee Gruppe, where the focus is on spearheading sustainability strategy and programs across all U.S. operations, a role held since January 2020. Prior to this position, Emiliano achieved notable success as a Trader at InterAmerican Coffee from October 2013 to January 2020, developing a portfolio of over 150 coffee roasters and leading profit margins for three consecutive years while managing South American coffee sourcing. Earlier experience includes roles as a Cupping Lab Assistant, Quality Inspector, and Farmer Trainer at Cooperativa de Caficultores de Aguadas in 2012, as well as a Marketing Assistant and Farmer Trainer at CoopeTarrazu Coffee Export Cooperative in 2011. Emiliano holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a concentration in Environmental Studies from San Diego State University, completed in 2013, and graduated from Saint Mary's College High School in 2009.
