Anshul Porwal

Anshul Porwal has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Anshul started their career at BlackBerry as a Software Test Specialist in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at AUTO21 Inc., where they contributed to the development of a novel Whiplash prevention system and collaborated on designing a proximity sensor.

In 2013, Anshul joined Kodak Graphic Communications as a Thermal Head Engineer. There, they worked with a team to design thermal heads for large-scale printers and conducted research on evaluating the quality of aluminum printing plates. Anshul also worked on solving quality control issues involving light valves.

From 2015 to 2018, Anshul worked at NZ Technologies Inc. as a Lead Systems Design Engineer. Anshul played an integral role in developing and bringing the TIPSO medical human-machine interface to hospitals and medical research facilities in North America. Anshul also helped develop the UTIGA residential human-machine interface. Anshul's technical achievements include researching and prototyping a novel method to control medical images touchlessly using capacitive sensing and integrating capacitive sensing in TIPSO.

Anshul Porwal's most recent position is as the CEO of NeuPeak Robotics, which they began in October 2018.

Anshul Porwal attended The University of British Columbia from 2009 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Engineering Physics.
