Elias Valcarcel Torres has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Elias co-founded Neural Labs in 2000 and served as the CEO. Elias is currently an External Collaborator at Esade since 2022, and they are also a Member of the Esade Business School Advisory Board since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the R&D Head at VALTO INFORMATICA,S.L. from 1999 to 2005. Elias also worked as a Software Engineer at COSTA DESARROLLOS INVESTIGACION Y CONSULTORIA SL in 1999 and as a Computer Vision Engineer at VISIOTEC LA VISIO PER COMPUTADOR SL in 1998.
Elias Valcarcel Torres has a diverse education history. Elias pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they completed between 1991 and 1997. In 1997, Elias briefly attended Trinity College Dublin for their Ph.D. in Computer Science. Later, in 2015-2017, they studied at both Esade and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where they earned a Multinational MBA and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) respectively, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General.
