Samuel Lau

Samuel Lau is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in opto-mechanical and mechanical design. Currently serving as a Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer at Neural Propulsion Systems, Inc. since July 2020, Samuel previously held similar positions at AEye, Inc. and Picarro, Inc., where contributions included the development of advanced laser detection receivers and specialized workstations. With a solid foundation in various engineering roles across multiple organizations, including Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., Krypton Vision, and Abbott Medical Optics, Samuel's expertise spans the design and prototyping of complex mechanical systems and manufacturing support for medical and optical applications. Samuel holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
